Episode 3 of Between the Stripes LOI podcast was a social media special this week as co-hosts Kieran Burke and Jonathan Brier discussed the effect of websites such as Twitter, Facebook and Youtube have on the League of Ireland. Special guests on this weeks show included social media expert and former Republic of Ireland Paralympic team assistant manager Derek Kavanagh, who was highly critical of a number of LOI clubs social media efforts, especially the efforts of Longford Town. Wexford FC manager Damien Locke joined the lads and revealed some big transfer news from Ferrycarrig Park, while in a very special interview the BTS team were joined on the line by Cabinteely FC vice-chairman Brian McGovern.

As always, Burke and Brier reviewed all the latest LOI results and action, while the lads also talked in depth following Monday's European draws involving Dundalk, Derry City, Shamrock Rovers and run-away league leaders Cork City.
